Policy on Privacy and Personal Information Use:
In France, the law 78-87 of 6 January 1978, the law 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, together with article L-226-13 of the Penal Code and the European Directive of 24 October 1995 protects individuals with regard to the collection of data.
When browsing the site and signing in to specific site rubrics, the following personal information is collected:
- Name and first name
- Invoice address
- Shipping address
- E-mail address
When shopping at the online store, all personal banking details are handled directly by the IT department of the bank processing the debit card payment. As a result, KDME has no knowledge of and does not store any information of this kind in its databases. The user provides information himself knowingly by personally keying it in and is informed of the obligatory or optional nature of the requested information.
The user is informed that he may ask the site’s webmaster (contact@houseofmicha.com) to:
- check any information keyed in personally
- divulge any personal information relating to the processing of this information
- provide information relating to the identity and geographical location of those in possession of this information
- communicate a copy of this information free of charge provided that requests are not overly repetitive or disproportionate
No personal information is collected, published or disclosed freely or for payment without the user’s consent. KDME is authorized to carry out statistical analyses of user classification and website visitation behaviour provided that users remain anonymous.
Right to modify collected information:
According to the provisions of article 34 of the Law 44-87 of 6 January 1978, the user is entitled to modify collected personal information. For this purpose, a mail must be sent to:

stating the user’s name, address and account number under which the personal information is stored. The requested modifications are made within 4 – 6 weeks.
Cookies:
Cookies are stored on a computer’s hard drive and make it possible to identify the user, track his browsing history and display site pages more rapidly. The user acknowledges and accepts the use of cookies by KDME in this way. Unless legally obliged to do so, KDME promises not to divulge the content of these cookies to third parties, commercial partners or customers. Users may refuse to accept cookies or configure their browser setting to prevent cookies being stored.
